Letters of Recommendation
As a service to our former students, we may still issue academic letters of recommendation if the following requirements are met:
| 1.) | You have completed one of our majors in the Master program with a grade of 2.3 (B-) or better. | ||
| a) | If you have chosen the major field "Markets and Consumption", you should have completed the corresponding course "Consumer Policy" with a grade of 2.3 (B-) or better. | ||
| b) | If you have chosen the major field "Environmental Economics", each of the two courses "Resource Economics and Environmental Policy" and "Cost-Benefit Analysis and Environmental Valuation" should have been completed with a grade of 2.3 (B-) or better. | ||
| 2.) | You have participated in one of our Master seminars with a grade of 2.3 (B-) or better. | ||
| a) | If you have chosen the major field "Markets and Consumption", the corresponding seminar course "Recent Advances in Consumer Policy" should have been completed with a grade of 2.3 (B-) or better. | ||
| b) | If you have chosen the major field "Environmental Economics", the corresponding seminar course "Recent Advances in Environmental Economics" should have been completed with a grade of 2.3 (B-) or better. | ||
| 3.) | You have reached a total grade of 2.3 (B-) or better in your study program. | ||
| 4.) | The required letter of recommendation should serve a specific purpose (application for a specific position or similar). Then we can recommend you for this specific position. General letters of recommendation without a specific purpose and addressee cannot be issued. | ||
If requirements 1) to 4) are met, please, send us your Transcript of Records, your CV and the job advertisement for the position you want to apply for.
